Religious Impostorism: Expanding the Notion of the Impostor Phenomenon

Muslims Needed for a Survey Research Study

We are seeking individuals to participate in a research study investigating how religious impostorism relates to the impostor phenomenon. The online questionnaire will ask you to indicate your agreement with statements regarding your feelings with respect to specific situations.  The study will add to the body of knowledge concerning religion and psychology. The study results may provide more insight into the factors that lead to and are associated with religious distress. Additionally, the study will further the understanding of Muslims’ relationship to impostorism. The survey will take 10 to 20 minutes of your time.

Eligibility to Participate

  • Muslim

  • 18 to 45 years old

  • Not diagnosed with a psychological disorder

In Appreciation for Your Time

You may receive a $25 gift card based on your participation in this research study. The incentive will be offered based on completion of the survey.  Two names will be drawn randomly, and all entrants have an equal chance of winning.
