Sheikh Amr Dabbour Appointed Full-Time ImamPosted Monday, October 30th 2006
Sh. Amr, who received his elementary through university education from Al-Azhar University in Egypt, had held an Imam position and a faculty position and managed several media and translation projects since his graduation in 2002. Currently, he is preparing his Masters Degree in Islamic Studies in English.
Sh. Amr is married and has a newly born son. His involvement with the youth and sports will be appreciated especially when we know about his multi-sport medals.
We are very fortunate to have Sh. Amr serve in this important leadership role within our community. He has a wide variety of knowledge and experience and has demonstrated great education, leadership and management skills in his career.
May Allah make Sh. Amr's job easy and bless our community and leadership to serve the Muslims in the best way that pleases Him (SWT).

Sheikh Amr Dabbour, our Taraaweeh Imam for this year, has been appointed as a full-time Imam for JIAR Masjid effective November 1st, 2006. He will be assisted by our brother Sheikh Abdenasser Zouhri who will serve as an assistant Imam. All Imam's duties will be carried out by Sh. Amr.
